Something Borrowed, Something Blue

I would like to dedicate this story to who I think is a special person, Janice Dreamer, with a thank you for all the encouragement that she has given me since I started writing. She has lifted me on many an occasion when I have felt like giving up. If half the nice things she tells me is only halfway true then they are still too effusive IMO but hey — I'm not going to grumble about a little ego stroking from time to time :)
