by Femur I've had the original, coverless version of this comic in my possession since I was a kid. I used to look at the pictures and pretend it was a TG tale. Years later, inspired by Jenny North's site, I decided to take matters into my own hands. And for those who are wondering, the hokey climax is true to the original story. |
by BobH Bodacious BobH makes his modified comics debut with this terrific tale of love twisted round. The text and pictures go together seamlessly, and with the art done by Jazzy John Romita, this one's a real treat! |
by Femur My third effort at a modified comic. I got myself in a bit of trouble on this one, combining panels from six different EC comics to make a somewhat coherent TG tale. This turned out to be tons more work than I thought it would be when I began. Hopefully, you'll think it was worth the effort! Artwork is by the great Reed Crandall, one of my favorites! |
by BobH Bodacious BobH returns with another modified comic. BobH says he approached this differently than his previous effort. "BODYSWAP ROMANCE was almost entirely rescripted where I wanted to see how much of the original I could keep in this one. It's TS rather than bodyswap since that's the story the pictures suggested to me." The art is by the late John Buscema. Enjoy! |

by Femur This is the oldest modified cover or story on the site. I was inspired by Carol Lay's great weekly strip, Story Minute, and kept hoping, over the years that she would cook up one with a TG theme. Finally, I decided to take matters into my own hands and did my first modified story. It's hard to write a one page TG tale, but I'd like to think these stories work pretty well, and that I captured something of the original spirit of Story Minute. |
